Irish Apple Cake

When I first came across this recipe I decided I needed to try it. It still took me about one year to actually try it. But it is delicious and I have to share the recipe with you.
The recipe is on this page. I didn’t do the custard sauce and that’s why I won’t have that recipe in this blog. To have that recipe please refer to the link.

For 12 pieces

Ingredients
3 cup Flour
2 teaspoons Baking Powder
1/8 teaspoons Salt
1/4 teaspoons grounded Cloves
1/4 teaspoons grounded Nutmeg
6 ounzces Butter
3/4 cups Sugar
4 large Apples
2 Eggs
3/4 cups Milk

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200° C.
Put the flour, baking powder, salt, cloves and nutmeg into a bowl. Cut the butter into the mix. Add the sugar and mix it all.
Next prepare the apples. Peel them and cut them into pieces. Than put them into the mixture and stir.
Combine the eggs and the milk in a separate bowl and add it to the apple mixture.
Put the finished batter into a prepared 20 or 26 cm cake pan and sprincle 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar on top. After 45 to 50 minutes in the over it should be ready.
